Wicani The Classic Touch at Strobroy
Maturing into a very handsome young man and producing Crufts qualifying offspring

Weight 24 kilos Height - 24 inches
Some people think Caliph to be a little on the short side in length of body but get your tape measure out - he is actually 27 1/2 inches long. The standard states that the body must be slightly longer than the height well 3 1/2 inches in our book is slightly longer.
The picture below shows the perfect angulation and construction of Caliph. Thank you to my good friend Angela of Wicani Collies for producing this picture for me.

Caliph came to us from Angela and Keith of Wicani in early 2008. Born out of Bellcot Silver Cloud of Bermajo x Hadomar's Touch of Darkness at Wicani (NLD Import, Res CC). Line bred to Brilyn Rum n Black and Rickwood Muschetta, this fabulous young man carries some very good qualities that we cannot live without in a Collie. He has the most fabulous of heads with correct stop and the most fantastic of eye placement. He has a fantastic underjaw as you can see from his pictures - not many collies are still carrying this quality. He carries a well grown and very dense jet black coat with the greatest of textures. His movement is second to none.
As his name suggests - he is very classic in type - just the type and shape of Collie that we love. In fact we were at a show and a total stranger came over and asked us if our Tri boy was Wicani bred as Wicani is world famous for the classic collies that they breed.
He has the most gorgeous of expression and has the sweetest nature ever. I think you can all tell just how much we love him.
After taking some time to settle in with us, he is now proving his worth with his places at shows. He has been placed at every show attended, bar one, and has slowly moved up the ranks. He is also proving to be a fantastic sire and is a much loved member of our kennel.
